I don't like Cheney, but I will begrudge that he has an idea or two. Powell is a great thinker, but his idea of a sure victory does not jive well with the uncertain war against terrorism, still he is flexible and may figure a way. Rusmsfeld is a hack, his only intention is to funnel dollars into the defense industries that used to pay him or plan to pay him after Bush loses the next election. I'm sure he is trying to change his tune to be in step with the latest plan to fleece the taxpayers but his cold war philosophy crystalized long ago. I'd feel a lot better if they were asking the master polititian for some ideas. TP
