A multiyear bear market? Jeez, I'm just trying to get through September. Tempus fugit for your namesake here, KB. The Dow topped out on Jan 14 2000, the Naz two months later on Mar 10 and finally the S&P 500 on Mar 24. If the "official" start is when the last big index rolls over then this bear is an 18-month-old toddler on Monday with the distinct possibility of having to deal with the "terrible twos". Even when the decline stops, it could take months to find a bottom. John
