Hey marcos, re: Bush I've been pleasantly surprised so far. Maybe he's smart enough to surround himself with smart people AND smart enough to recognize good advice when playing for all the marbles, we'll see, I hope so. I've canoed across the Minnesota/Ontario border several times, and it wasn't exactly crawling with guards and dogs. I learned about the Pig War in grade school. There was also a related slogan: "54-40 or fight!". If we had prevailed, you'd be able to call yourself an "American"! <g> The U.S. will now inevitably pass long-opposed legislation for a national smart ID card, featuring a holographic photo, finger prints, DNA sample, unique bar code, GPS locator beacon, breathalyzer, and alarm clock that plays the Star-Spangled Banner at dawn. Do you have anything like this in Canada? Might be an investment opp here if we can figure out who benefits. The dock price of fresh halibut is tanking here in AK, apparently because no one is going out to dinner in the "lower 48". Given the warlike atmosphere, you might want to tone down the title on the FO/CCC thread. How about changing it to: "Gallant Yanks Put Squeeze on Cute Cuddly Canadians"? <g> As for stocks, right now I like cash. Thinking about buying some index calls today if we hit the '98 lows. Later.
