<< Perhaps you forgot what peace and prosperity were like. Well they ain't like what we got! >>

Who's fault is that? The safety of our country, and the free world, has been threatened by a very terrible and demented menace. The current administration can't be solely blamed for the existence of the terrorist threat to the US. Clinton/Gore had 8 years to deal with the problem, and during that time the terrorist cells grew stronger and bolder.

OTOH, there's plenty of blame to go around. Where was the secretary of transportation, when all of the warnings were coming in regarding our airport security? Where was Bush's top security advisors, when all of the threats and warnings were coming in.

But, the current administration was given an airport system almost in ruins, and a security system that had been stripped of any real power to weaken or destroy terrorist cells.

I have not been happy with many of the things that Bush has done, but I have been happy with some of his other actions. I am especially happy that he has to balls to attempt a worldwide destruction of terrorism, before it destroys more of the free world. What a remarkable and courageous decision.

God speed our country on this mission that might just be needed to save our world.
