Well, we're off to the races now Maybe there's enough people watching closely to start us back on track to prosperity once we get the war under our belts. The biggest unknown: more terrorism here at home. That'll screw up everything, and we'll really see who can handle the truth and who can't. The first test will be Saturday: captured terrorists in Chicago had documents that said something would happen on September 22nd, this Saturday, in either Chicago or San Francisco. If so, it means an "off the shelf, independent" cell is preprogrammed to act. If not, maybe we've had some effect. If we get through that, I'll start breathing a little easier, and every month after that that we don't have an incident. Keep your anger, it's your friend. Eternal vigilence.

If the politicians run this war against terrorism, over tea in the oval office, we are in real trouble. But, in the meantime, we have got to trust in Bush and his administration, and hope for the best. What else can we do? We need a united country. We need to stand behind our government. We will soon find out how safe we are, and how effective our government is. I hope that you are wrong.
