Two scenarios One, another terrorist event occurs this Saturday 22nd in Chicago or San Francisco. Then we're instantly escalated to greater retaliation in a day or two with B52s, missles, and HALO insertion in a dozen areas. The economy crashes further and we're way, way up sh*t creek looking for a paddle Two, no event occurs for weeks, retaliation force assembles itself and the first attack occurs in two weeks After that if it's like Vietnam we'll settle into battle with evening reports, daily lives, and dealing with rearranging our country to create increased protection and hardening of infrastructure. When that's understood and spending that $1/2 Trillion infrastructure-hardening effort is underway, we'll have this what I consider to be under our belt. Then a lot of us in this country who are hanging in the air can make decisions going forward and maybe the economy can creak forward again with less cloud of uncertainty
