He is clue less with regard to the mentality of Eastern Nations, to soft and "understanding" can not distinguish between lies and truth and he is easily mislead .......... thinks the world out side has the camaraderie similar to the US Armed forces ........ no back stabbing .......... but common goals etc. ......... can not distinguish between friend or foe. Always against decisive actions ........... but speaks big does little. Not sure if he has a clue how to deal with China, Korea, Japan and SE Asia. His choice to ally the US in current crisis with Pakistan instead of India is a big mistake. He failed to understand the dynamics of the ME during Desert Storm, stopped Western Armies from a decisive victory, allied itself with corrupt families in power which to date disregard democracy and freedom. Transformed himself in a servant to those clans, missed to capture the expansion of the Islamic Fundamentalist movement ...... Bin Laden raise to power is a direct result of Powell policies in 1991 ............... was forced to leave under Clinton for blunders not known to us yet .............. unjustly assumed to himself the excellent military execution of Schwartzcopf and others in his team .............. he is self centered heavy tilted toward self promotion on the expense of others ................... thinks he is indispensable and acts this way. He is very arrogant even that he learned to hide it / cover it with a smile or joke ................. and the list goes on
