I wasn't talking about the company, their burn rate, their prospects, their ability to succeed or anything else...just their product. And it works...and works well. Does that mean they'll make money, or that there isn't something better out there? I have no clue, and nor do I really care as I have no position in the stock. I merely related my first-hand experience with the product, and made it clear I had nothing to compare it against.

If somebody would like to hand my head to me for that, I must not be living in the country I think I am. But thanks for the warning anyway.

P.S. I'm very well acquainted with the author...both his short and long calls.

good to know the dark side of the story as well. Webx can be a good long or a good short candidate.

I do, suspect, that some investor firms may be supporting it for possible offerings in the near future. The company seem to need cash injection before the end of the year. A secondary offering of debt, stock, or convertible may be in the thinking. They have drawn $2 million out of the allowed $7.5 line of credit and only have $25.7 million cash left on June 30 this year, after a private placement of 2 million shares that got them $40 million net cash, just in March 2001.

Positive cash flow is still more than a year away.

I bought some PLCM instead, seems like a nice breakout to me in a bad market.
