so they're using the occasion to further pressurise 'tax havens' - a predictable outcome. since taxes are a form of legalized extortion by the state, this is a very regrettable development.
as i've said previously, few of the measures now taken will actually enhance our security - but they will definitely cut down our civil rights and liberties even further.
