I thought that SI had broken down until I realized it was just the great mass of messages from JLA being ignored. What a great feature. FDR was before my time. It's not just that things get worse while Bush is around, it's that they get worse because of his policies. His withdrawing of American influence around the world was the political equivalent of putting a "kick me" sign on the back of the country. It's time that Bush trusted a little less to his inner voice and a little more to wiser advisors. I can only hope that he is learning to be receptive. TP
