John, I have some concerns about tax $$ going to the airlines also. Here's an industry which was told many years ago about the inadequacies of safety precautions but decided to IGNORE those warnings (all for the sake of more profits) and indeed lie to the american public by claiming that everything was fine and safe. Well, 4 highjackings in one day showed the americanpublic that there was NO SAFETY against this threat. absolutely none. Now they are asking us to bail them out of the consequences of their inaction and negligence. That's the way I see it. I also understand that they are seeking federal legislation to shield them from negligence claims from the events of September 11th. i can't believe it!
