We see the same thing and call it different names.

I see trickery and call it trickery. I see the job description calls for trickery. So I see them doing their job.

Are you honestly going to believe that a bank would sell you something that is worth more than you pay them? Yah, and used car salesmen are actually trying to save you money. OK.

No mistake about it, these "houses" are a quaint name for "bank". And brokerages are just that. They make some folks go broker, and some folks not go broker. And make an obscene amount of money in the process.

Now, I can argue the other perspective as well. That there is enough evil in this world without having an entire industry that is overtly constructed to cheat hard-working folks out of their money. Con games are illegal. Racketeering is illegal. Ponzi schemes are illegal.

And yet they exist on Wall Street.

But in the end, if I play in the casino, I am sanctioning its existence. And when I enter of my own free will, I lose my right later to cry "foul".

And it's cool if you think differently. The great place about America is we're all allowed to have different ideas. That's what makes the market.

John.
