Jill, I got the impression from the President's words that Colin Powell is being heard loud and clear. Thus far, they have done nothing rash and have chosen their words carefully. I think that when all is said and done, General Powell will have great influence with Mr. Cheney (with whom he worked well in the Gulf War) and the President. I thought it was encouraging to see Tony Blair stand up and be counted by coming here to be seen by all the world at the President's side. jpgill
