A friend of mine, who is now in sales at USS, was a former Manager of Safety at the Lorain works. During the 1986 strike, he received a letter of a picture of him taken from a distance while at the mill, the picture had a drawing of the cross hairs of a scope cross on it. Previously, shots had been fired into the plant with no injuries. Shortly after that, A union worker was arrested in an adjacent building with a hunting rifle.
