I follow pairs: mxim,lltc; altr,xlnx; amat,Nvls; I like both mxim and lltc. But if you have followed these companies lltc was the leader and mxim used to follow in valuations, revenues and profits. But for almost a year or so, mxim has outdone mxim. I favor mxim eventhough I trade both. By the same token for over 10 months or so the altr and xlnx charts have crossed and xlnx seems to be going down faster ( higher beta). Once the charts change the pattern I may switch back to xlnx over altr but for now I like altr better. Does it make any sense?
