And the connection reveals yet another ugly choice that diplomacy must make. Clinton sided with the KLA, despite these known connections to terrorists and the heroin trade. At the time, I opposed our involvement in Kosovo, more due to the fact that it was the KLA that started shooting at the Serbs in Kosovo, and the Serbs of course fought back and did their own cleansing. To me it was punk 1 hitting punk 2, and punk 2 gets up and beats the livin shit out of punk 1. But from a perspective of siding with the KLA as a way to get at Milosevic; well I can understand that choice, and of course the eventual outcome , Slobo in jail, is a good one. No doubt GWB is going to be making some rather distasteful choices in the comming months.
