Here's a random observation that I don't know what to do with.. . For curiousity's sake last night, I'd priced some various calls on the S+P and some stocks (all assuming much lower levels). I noticed that even at the bottom today, the premium on the S+P calls didn't drop as much as one woulda expected. Now, of course this could mean that more down is expected and the options folks are getting every dollar they can OR it can simply mean that due to the extra volitility, everything carries more premium OR. . . . Anyway, don't know what to do with that info, but thought I'd pass it on during jello time. the freep
