If the key to understanding geopolitical movements is to find out who profits... then if you're right, who benefits?

Nice speech, but......loss in the short run? Yeeech!

As far as markets are concerned, I don't give a rat's ass if my portfolio goes down 50%. I'm a LTB&H, and I'm holding and slowly adding during the downturn, which began long before Sept. 11. I have capitulated because I don't care what happens henceforth. I'm not doing a damn thing differently than I did before. Staying fully invested and adding as I can.

Do you really think things are going to remain like this? From an market standpoint, opportunities abound for the shrewd and the steady.

Symbols, by the way, are intended as representations of the real. Sane people concentrate on the real, not the symbolic. Our real economic and military strength is untouched.

The terrorists have certainly struck a chord with you. They have achieved their exact purpose.

Shame.

I don't mean to flame you and I promise it's not personal, but when I read things like those you write, I get the urge to travel out of cyberspace simply to yell things like:

"Wake up, fella, they've got you where they want you!"
