Know I haven't been hanging out with the Islamic Jihad lately, but 1 - An attack like that on the WTC would probably require hatred and 2 - If you look at the propaganda used to inspire attacks like these and smaller suicide bomber attacks they are full of hatred, intolerance and statements that anyone who dies in such an attack will be a martyr and will go to paradise.

Tim, please explain to me how their hatred is so differ from the hatred exhibited during the numerous and hateful lynchings in the South, the terrifying image of burning crosses, the antics of the aryan race groups in ID, the recent burning of black churches in the South where there were people burned alive, the anti-semitic desecrations, the hideous beating to death of a gay man and then placing him on a cross in ID or WY, etc? These are Americans perpetrating hate crimes on other Americans. The main difference I see is some restraint and that's probably due to fear of reprisal from American laws.

By no means do I think we are the worse people in the world, far from it. However, I do think that a line from the bible is very apt here: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
