Pete, re<<<RE: QQQ touched $27.20>>>>

Strong Nasdaq rally to start Monday afternoon or Tuesday IMO. As Justa noted short term indicatorsVIX VXN and P/C ratio are screaming a change in direction. They were likely thwarted by the forces noted by Bob and those here including margin calls big and small, large insurance company sales to raise reserves which probably climaxed on Friday, weak hands throwing in the towel on the market for the next decade etc. Given all this it looks like 1400 area will hold with that intraday low of 1387. Monday may see some residual selling with the possibility of a marginal new low but a bounce starting Monday and/or a big turn around Tuesday appears in the offing. May not be a final bottom but the way this economy is and will be stimulated the bull is in sight for 2002 launch if not before fulfilling Bob's long stated suspicion. Of course wildcard of future acts, consequences and counteractions in terrorism war is unpredictable.

Before anyone takes anything I say as useful, note I am the fool who went overboard on the short term rally call and is the less than proud holder of a stack of QQQ and an incredibly shrinking equity value in RYVNX. Fortunately I still have a few dollars left to buy my winter pencils to sell on the corner<g>
