This is, however, an SI thread that focuses on critique of CNBC, which is unquestionably an influential 'medium' -- and I the use the term loosely -- with some sort of purpose of providing financial 'news,' correct?

Does the "Home Shopping Channel" posture as some sort of 'news dissemination organization' among the likes of Reuters or the Associated Press?

CNBC DOES spin itself -- position itself, in marketing terms -- as having such journalistic OBJECTIVE credibility... as a 'news' organization.

The operative word being, "objective," to dot the i and cross the tee.

Have switched since the attack, I like the split screen. Can keep my eye on the market while getting news as well. Aaron Brown does a good job, plus I don't see those irritating Dell commercials with that obnoxious Steve <G>!
