Hi IC, I would not worry about anyone else on the other boards. Do you see me posting on any of them? That is why I just stick to a few boards that I know are Good and have Good posters like yourself. I think that there is a time and a place for shorting stocks but right now is not one of them. Actually I have only shorted a few stocks over the years. Most of the times my Short picks are just an indication of when I believe that a stock has been overbought or the fundementals are Bad because the company is Bad. The markets are not Happy right now so a Lot of stocks are being beaten down. This will be a good time to invest long term WHEN the markets turn back Up. How long that will take is the uncertain thing. I think that this is a good time to catch some bounces but I am not going to tie up any cash until the markets look stronger, perhaps November. That is where the problem lies. It is not that the individual stocks are not strong. It is just that the markets future is uncertain right now and Cash is king. I was really hoping for an EOD rally but it looks like most investors are going to wait and see what happens over the weekend. Monday should be better but it is hard to forsee the future in the markets. I hope that you will continue to post here IC. If not then feel free to send me PMs. I know of a few people who only communicate that way. It is a sad to have to put up with Bashers. PMs are the way to avoid having to deal with them. I have Always felt that this board was open for any comments and have Rarely seen any Bashing going on, just opinions. Take Care IC! I hope that you have an enjoyable weekend. Sincerely, Bob
