regarding the rsi5, the 56 group has studied the 3rsi for some time. what its doing now, called an antipaste, may set up a pattern to monitor should it occur in its textbook form. watch for responses to this question to get some detail as to how it might set itself up. an antipaste consists of 3 or more days at its extreme, in this case 3rsi < 5.0. a paste is just the opposite, 3 days > 95. watch for a lightning bolt pattern to the 3rsi. up , down, and back up. then use the anchor low to the low created by the down day(s) as a trendline as to when any bounce may be stalling. most indexes are in day 4 anti pastes. the bkx is in its sixth day. more details and thoughts should be posted over there.

also, weekly ndx support tested last week, draw the lows connecting 1-19-96 to 7-15-96
