Had I been alive at the time ...

... before 'He' created everything, I would have been happy to lend 'Him' a chisel.

Unless Makita power drills with masonry bits were available at the time ... Bosch, Craftsman via Sears ...

Tools make all the difference, you know, in accomplishing tasks.

I learned that watching Dean and Joanne on 'Hometime' and Bob Vila and Norm on 'This Old House' and 'Home Again' on PBS, TLC and how, HIGH TV -- you know, the new one... OH WOW! and also 'Trading Places' where normal people -- rather, 'mere mortals,' who live as neighbors (physically, not necessarily in any 'spiritually-connected' ways, in middle class suburbia, redecorate each other's houses ... have you seen that one?

Ya gotta have the right tools.

Otherwise, you're forced to make unnecessary and annoying trips to Home Depot during the middle of a project...which is usually exasperating in itself.

Planning, planning ... PLANNING ahead -- yes, read the g*damned exploded diagram directions in the plastic-pac that come with it ... READ THE MANUAL ...

Oh, I digress.

A chisel doesn't come with a User's Manual ...

Sorry ...

Anybody as tired of the 'national hymn' as I am?

I know there was a bit of discussion about this here earlier this week.

Christ, I'm sick of it.

God Bless = Gag Me with a Spoon.

I've always preferred "The Stars & Stripes Forever" over all other 'patriotic' anthems anyway.

Marching music, ain't it? Sousa. YEAH! Let's GO!! Not to war, 'for heaven's sake,' but back to living life.

Played by any symphony of repute, this is motivational 'get charged up,' feel-good music.

Although, "Nessun Dorma" does the same for me.

As does T's 1812 Overture.

As does Steve Winwood's "While You See a Chance, Take It."

As national anthems go.

<<I'll have a word with Him>>

Just tell 'im to get off His ass and buy NTAP on Monday when the U.S. markets open.

Unless He can do it Singapore? On Sunday?

-g-

Storage is where it's at these days, we are told.

He can 'save the world' by 'putting to work' all of His 'sideline cash.'

A little input in God's ear can't hurt, eh?
