Quick question? Do you also practice in your church the handling of poisonous snakes...I'm thinking about picking up this practice that you bible teaches. Do you think I should start with rattlers or go straight to the more deadly ones?

Regarding the Bible, many people fail to understand that scripture is a combination of admonitions, history, prophesy, and judgement.

These features are also combined at times as when historical verses are also prophetic.
