FAX is not at all oriented to raw materials. It consists of government bonds.

What concerns me is the value of the Australian dollar as measured against the US dollar. It seems to me that the Australian dollar may be seriously undervalued in terms of US dollars, especially in light of the huge creation of credit and money recently sponsored by our Federal reserve.

With its very high yield, it seems to me that FAX may be a good place to preserve capital against a fall of the US dollar.

Of course, I may turn out to be wrong about this, but it's not like buying currency futures--nor is it investing in Australian stocks.
