Canadians are our brothers and sisters. We wouldn't dream of slighting them. They are like an appendage to our bodies and we would be there in the time span of a breath to defend them whenever, wherever, whatever.

What is absurd about my post doodthing?

I stated that the Canadians should not feel slighted because they were not specifically mentioned in the speech. It was not meant to be a thank you speech, and when there are thank you speeches I have no doubt that the Canadians will be thanked for their contributions.

I would take exception as to whether Canada is a bigger U.S. ally than Great Britain, but that is probably pointless. They are both our friends (thankfully). I'd rather live in Canada if that makes you feel better, and I am damn glad they are BOTH on our side.
