You will simply be an observer. Others will lose - and will gain, and will lose and will gain again and again and again. But you will be the same as you have always been: No gain, no loss, no nothing. Just an observer from distance. You may claim that you are waiting to buy at the right point - but with you it never comes as it will always be for some reason or another (e.g. things are overvalued) just being an observer and self-righouts for being an observer. Have you seen the movie the Pleasntville where a brother and sister go through time zone via their TV to their favorite 50's black-and-white sitcom? You kind of remind of me of the guy who plays the dad in that 1950's black-and-white sitcom. Very nice, very observant, but following the same exact ultra conservative routine everyday, day after day, without having the desire or ambition to deviate from that routine and take a chance for once in his life. Although at the end, that guy does take a chance and his life does become colorful instead of the old black-and-white. Seriously rent the video and watch it sometime. You understand what I am talking about. Do you see how it works? It is sort of like the guy who never wants to drive thinking he may get into an accident, and when he sees some horrible accident happening to someone else he feels lucky and self-righouts for not driving and then telling the injured guy "See... didnt I tell you not to drive and be like me instead! You should have listened to me!"
