Jay: I agree! VIX hit 57 this morning. That shows a lot of fear was out there. And the morning lows held. If they continue to hold Monday I would say we probably have seen the bottom. What could surprise people is that there might be no big rebound for awhile even after a bottom has been confirmed. A period of base building and backing and filling before a sustained recovery begins later this year IMHO. Those expecting a repeat of late 1998 probably will be disappointed.
