Thanks, susie. Before monday I heard so much of how bad shorts are and read articles which encouraged folks to buy to show patriotism. Now that wall street has separated them from even more of their hard-earned money will they reflect on whether this was truly productive -- This article is good gold-eagle.com What if all these people who bought some shares had given it to the red cross or to the families of the victims? I was inspired by our president's speech and I am full of hope for our country, but I think things are going to be tough for the near term. I pray that he has faith to see through what he has started ... I think understanding is always there for people who want to understand. I have no doubt that whoever planned the attack knew we were vulnerable to this specific attack in more ways than one. I dream of the return to a free market economy and a safe environment by the time my son is ready to join the workforce and live on his own. I think it is incumbent upon those who understand how our monetary and political system has been perverted for untoward purposes to speak out and try to inform others. I try to do this with family members and working associates, but most are more interested in "where the markets are going" than what makes a market, basic economics or the foundations of personal freedoms.
