Heinz, there are many distinction also between gold bars. My point is that the world chose gold for historic reasons. If one would be an expert in gold then various mines would have various values for the gold they mine as some have a better color and polish than others .......... in a way like diamonds.

The only difference is that one 1 of gold is much more cheaper than 1 ounce of raw diamonds and for sure polished diamonds

All is an issue of perception that is all.

BTW Silver and gold can be recycled ............ diamonds ............ ??????????
