Undeniable?? You don't have to look far to see examples of where SW was to replace dedicated HW and failed. Prime examples are Transmeta, blind replacement of FPGAs for DSPs, and Intel's failed attempt with MMX.

And where do you get the idea that QC's patents pertain to HW. The key patents are algorithms. Why would companies like Nokia sign up for a infrastructure license if they knew they can get around the patents. Didn't work for Nokia to get in bed with IDCC on possible mobile CDMA workarounds.

Man, you are so ill informed. Don't tell me that we are going to have to deal with the likes of you after having dealt for years with the IDCC folks. Will eventually shut you down also. Bye, Bye.
