At the current levels, the market is oversold and a terrific value at all fronts.

Gee, let's see how well that one will age. I say, give it a month.

As for "oversold", yes it is. But undervalued? Not a chance.

As for my picks, I am confident that they will provide a handsome return despite the fact that TMTA will probably end up underwater as might AVCI.

Well, good luck! You will have to do a little over 21% year over year with your picks for the next 5 years, if you have to do as well as the long-bond. If even half of your twelve picks are back in the black by then, I would consider it remarkable.

Jock,

Why do you feel that stocks are undervalued at these levels, given all the danger and uncertainty? P/es for a lot of companies are still in the 20s with the near term possibility of negative growth rates or fairly anemic growth. By what metrics do you see stocks like LSI, for instance, or even GE or INTC, as undervalued?
