Re: Boeing. Much upset, union hoping to minimize layoffs overall. Big picture though is the area feels more able to withstand a Boeing downturn, but that it will likely put Puget Sound into recession. I feel that Boeing's long term goal has been to move jobs overseas and this is an opportunity for them (hence the move to Chicago so they don't have to witness the pain themselves). That is, any Boeing rebound will occur elsewhere in the US and in the world.
