Scott:
Here are the highest paid executives of the year 1990
1. Stefan J Wolf UAL Corp, total compensation $18.3 mm
2. John Sculley, Apple Computer, $16.7 mm
3. Paul Freeman , Reebok, $14.9 mm ( all cash)
4. Dean Buntrock, Waste Management , $12.3 mm
5. Martin Davis, Paramount $11.3 mm
Considering the average equity investor has probably lost between 50% and 80% of their capital in the last two years, because of mistakes made by company executives I will agree with Oldtrader here and say its way past time that Executives share just a minor bit our pain and try to struggle by least temporarily by on less compensation - like perhaps $20 mm instead of $100 mm or $200mm/year
