Zeev,

We as a Nation along with all the other free nations will be must better off once we accomplish the goals George Bush laid out last night. We will pull out of this stronger as ever just as we did after WWI, WWII, the Kennedy Ass., the Gulf War, the 73 oil embargo, and all the other things we have tackled! We will become a much stronger nation through prayer, through Rep. and the Dem. working closer together, through communities pulling together for the better meant for all, people realizing that there is more to life than work work work and the markets, which in turn parents will spend more quality time with their children and each other! We have to have some bad times to be able to appreciate the good times! Taking my family to Disney World in Oct. and have had it planned for a year now, but we all decided to continue with our original plans and fly and I believe we will be able to enjoy our time together much more now knowing that at any second we may be taken from this world! Peace and good health for the world are my prayers now and forever!

Peace and Good Health to you and yours Zeev,

Hank

Zeev - any thoughts on oil stocks?
Have they bottomed?
I am looking for diversification.

Did a good thing today and sold my NEM at the open.
Been nibbling into calls for several days now, still 90% cash. Strike Jan or Feb. Underwater on all of them but not deeply so. Need a half point on NEWP, a point on JNPR, 30 cents or so on AETH. Pretty bad entries on EMLX as I need 1 1/2 points or so on EMLX and TXCC and NTAP I need a point as well to break even.

I would rather lose 100% of these plays than 50% in common.
NEM and a few other good trades have kept me treading water these past few days.

I think I might add some AMD calls here. Was looking at IRF but options are expensive on that one it seems. It hit 25 today. You still like it?

What bios do you like other than CRA and IMCL.
CRAY refuses to drop much below 20. Maybe I sould buy some and write covered calls.

Zeev, as someone who purchased AMGN, BGEN, and CENTECOR in the 80's, and one who bought CRA, PDLI, and HGSI under 20 in 1998 I will say one thing, there is no better time to own BIO-TECH then NOW! Recession has no effects on these issues, and the months of 9-12 are usually the best for news!

I will say the best for undervaluations regarading Market caps and PIPE line of future drugs are HGSI, MYGN and PDLI.

The others that are more expensive but far less explosive are IMCL, IDPH and GILD!

Good luck and Happy New Year!

Zeev, My question is whether the individual investor has yet capitulated? The heavy selling last week was not done by the individuals I know. They are holding fast but worried. If the downtrend continues, I worry that we will see long term investors start to sell. These people have held for the long haul and still have profits. When the actual amount they have put into the market become a loss, I fear there will be panic selling; I'm not sure last week was panic. Although, it was terrible. I did not get the feeling that the market had reached despair. thanks, Rick
