I suppose the Islamic hijackers have infinite trust in their beliefs. Metaphysical certitude met WTC. Some married couples run their transactions on trust and love rather than a ledger. It's the most valuable trust there is, though it is also one of the most vulnerable. Another trust is the child for its parents [which reduces as they become more capable]. A child is far safer with the store of value in their parents than if they were given $1 million and left to their own devices in a sea of kleptomaniacs. USS Enterprise is founded on that stuff we have heard a lot about the past week or two rather than the physical asset of WTC. It involves a lot of high-level trust. Hence the huge value of the USA to humans. Gold mostly retains its value because of the trust in the USA to maintain the world's economic system. Mq
