the us economy is already destroyed, just takes a while for everyone to realize that. You can never get something from nothing after adjusting for the greater fool coefficient which lets something be gotten from nothing for a long time until it's payback time, which we're getting to now. I wish everyone understood this, it seems so simple. Something will always have to give, be it the dollar, failing companies, banks going under. What needs to be done is that at least some of these things be prevented but at this point I think the fed will end up doing the most damage possbile on all counts before it's over.
