Are you sure that it's not just you, Karen, who wishes to 'probe' into U.S. media standardization on Associated Press style as a point of conflict to instigate 'debate' with the so-called 'right wingers?'

Bonnie, I'm sorry but I guess I'm just not getting your question. My intention was solely to bring to Bill's attention that the Post editorial had left out the Congressman's party.

Regarding the AP stylebook, I don't know how relevant it is in this case since most of the complaints I saw regarding Condit were about TV coverage. I don't know if the print style applies there.
