To: sea_urchin who wrote (12164 ) 9/22/2001 1:37:17 PM From: Tom Byron Read Replies (2) | Respond to of 80934 searle: thank you for your well thought out response..as you know, as demonstrated in my approach to the markets, i'm technical inclined to work my interpretations on them (the markets)...do not use fundamental news, etc but my waves, cycles, price, time and patterns.... i admit to reading the news over a cup of coffee but have no tv, radio or computer at home ( i guess ya might say, i live a sheltered life ....here in my cave..... but some fundamental thoughts i do have, in general....is that we have a population problem...and therefore, another reason for furstations.....i believe the world's population is around 6 billion or more....when i was born, in 1939, i guess it was about 2 billion (maybe)... the demands on the earths resources are becoming extreme,..... i would think.....and i do not see a slowing of the population growth in the near future....plus, the us . of a....i understand, is a tremendous export of grains to the world....and we haven't have a serious drought in a very long time....if we eventual have one....one can image what the problems will be. i do not admit to being an expers on bombers, population growth or droughts....but i don't see a solutions to these problems any where in the near future.... and the confirmation on my charts, especially the breaking of the 1998 mid-year lows seems to indicaate to me that we have more financials declines on the horizons...timewise the last 19 year "up" cycle topped in mid-1998...and we have now (yesterday) confirmed the downward 19 years cycle....but my cycle and wave work do not tell me what the "prices" will be....that information may be available somewhere in the "9's" stuff but i haven't had the motivation to check into it at this time. guree tom @ thoughts from the cave.
