Get real man! If it was being planned for two years...how would it be different if Gore were the President? He was the Vice President when the planning began. Why don't you go have lunch with Barbara Lee and Fran Lebowitz.

Sr K: Powell made very clear that he does not believe that wars can be waged without casualities. It seems like so far the response has been well planned. I am expecting that we will attack from North with the help of Northern Coalition and Russian built airfields. The rhetoric of extremists drove the moderate muslims almost underground. May be the new world order will give the true muslims to preach practicing Islam in its real form. The best thing said was "Since Islam doesn't advocate violance, Jihadi's has committed blasphemy". Hence they lost the right to even call themselves Muslims. Should the real muslims clerics issues Fatwah's banishing these lost souls? The real war is going to be developing campaigns to make sure democracy with humanitarian governing takes hold everywhere, that policies should be more geared to help people meet their miniimum needs, and stop selling arms to anybody and everybody (and keep an eye behind you and around you). I for one am not happy for altering the carefree nature of our society. I think we are overreacting any many ways. I don't see any need for 200 tow-truck drivers in exhibiting their patriotism circling around the Pentagon when I have to wait 4 hours on busy highway for a towtruck to arive. Nor do I see logic in asking people who are up to their eyeballs in credit debt to spend or people who lost fortune due to margin calls to buy stock with still high p/e ratios. Let us start leading our lives normally, and logically. Let us make sure our leaders plan smartly. In the meanwhile I still live in the best country in the world and thank God for that.
