Ummmmm Westpacific .... are you arithmetically challenged ?

I'm not saying I disagree with your thesis ... but to go to such extremes to support it seems like ... like .... maybe you should think before you post.

From 1995 to 1998 - in the explosion period of the internet it went from 1000 to 2000, again a 10% return a year.

Sorry. A 100% gain in 3 years is 24% per year. If you meant 1995 - 1998 to be 4 years, then it is an 18% anualized gain. Either one of these numbers is a FANTASTIC return.

From 1998 to 2000 - the final bull market blowoff, it ran from 2000 to 5000, yet only a return of 15% - even in the total top of the mania.

LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!! During this 18 month period -- the anualized gain was ...... was ...... was ..... something like 80%. Pure insanity.

But if you are suggesting that it might be prudent to wait a little before becoming a buy and hold investor, maybe you're right.

If we see more capitulation next week, I will buy a little more. I will hold until January when the shorts cover.
