RR,

I was very impressed with our President and with the obvious unity he shared with Senators and Representatives from both sides of the aisle (with one unfortunate exception -- a Jr. Senator from NY who appeared not to care for what the President had to say).

I also particularly appreciated the sight of British Prime Minister Tony Blair standing tall with America at that particular time, for the entire world to witness. He was seated next to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, the new chief of "Homeland Defense". I find it ironic that England, our original colonizer, has become and continually reaffirms itself as our strongest ally when times are toughest.
