Hello k. ramesh,

In no way did I imply that the people of the Middle East be "bought."

I would ask that you forgive my ignorance and be tolerant of those of us that have much to learn.

I have never been to the Middle East and freely admit that my only source of information is what I have been able to read.

It is my understanding that some people of the Middle East, particularly Pakistan and Afghanistan, have very little if any access to modern means of communication outside the boundaries of their homelands. That their only source of information are bulletins posted by their governments and radios that broadcast what the governments of those countries deem proper?

My concern is providing the means by which the people of the those areas that don't, are able to have access to the free flow of information. I simply believe that without the free flow of information, the "attitude" that America and the world saw displayed on Sept. 11, is one that no civilized society anywhere on Earth can or will tolerate.

I believe that once the technology that provides the ability to have the free flow of information is made available to the people of the these areas, the "attitude" would change rather dramatically to one more hospitable to human survival.

If I am wrong, please show me where.

If you could tell me more about the society I would be grateful.

Best,

M
