"at the hands of these Muslim fundamentalists."

I hope the media begins to more accurately report that the perpetrators are Muslim "Extremists".

Fundamentalism is simply "a movement or attitude stressing strict and literal adherence to a set of basic principles"

Well put Fred, I am with you 110%. Take them out once and for all with a force so strong they will not believe we have unleashed it. Only then will there be a chance for peace.

Fred, if they are captured, I don't think that outright (withouttrial) execution is the American way. They should be tried both under Federal Statutes and NY statutes (where they do have the death penalty). When (not if) found guilty, the death sentence should be commuted if and only if, they deliver all the other cells, and periodically (before high Muslim holidays like Ramadan, year after year) make public statements, highly publicized in their former nests of what the Quran is really about, Peace and Mercy.

Killing them is no more than vengeance, we should extract uch more than vengeance, reeducation of the "hating masses" to other methods of handling disagreements. These people are great orators, and the Arabic language is extremely expressive and can be used like those criminals to inflame and incite people to unbelievable acts or to direct the masses away from hate and direct their anger into productive channels.
