Wouldn't the assasination of Onwar Sadat of Egypt be considered an example of Islamic fanatic outrage?

Does any one have examples of muslim outrage?

Muhammed Ali stumbled out of his punch-drunk stupour long enough to denounce the muslims who committed this act..

But I haven't heard much from Farrakhan... :0)

I think a vital strategy in building a consensus among the muslim world to defeat this extremism is to apply a bit of "guilt" therapy upon them...

Let them know that their own "brethren" have twisted their belief to the extent that it's making all muslims look like fanatics... which will impact their economic and social relations with the entire world.

And remind them of the many muslims who were murdered by these fanatics in the WTC attack...

It's really tough to get intellectuals to rally against the more low-brow elements who make up these extremist groups. It was the same way in Nazi Germany, where many were content to sit back and remain complacent, or complicit to what was occurring around them.

And if this is the case, I fear that many of them will be caught in the crossfire...

It is VERY clear that the day of reckoning between the West and Radical Islam has arrived. If we don't take on the challenge now while we have the international political momentum, it will be a decision that haunts us in the years ahead.

One can only wonder where the modern day Winston Churchill's are hiding...
