I agree with your line of reasoning. Of great concern to me is how this country changes internally to meet the threat of terrorism. In other words, at what price security?

Lest we forget, Orwell wrote "1984" not using Russia as the model for his control-state. He based his control-state on Great Britain 1939-45.
