Sun, The Taliban is a puppet regime. My belief is that they and their units will be targeted first. Once they are significantly weakened, we will have better access for our Special Forces to the areas where bin laden hangs out. Fox's general in residence said a few moments ago that the internal danger for Pakistan has passed and that the general has support of a majority of the people. Pakistan intelligence aid and its ties with potential anti-Taliban forces withing the Talibans own tribe or even dissident members of the ruling group will be critical. There will be a military component of the war on terror. Don't become naive about that because of a speculative newspaper article. Remember how little we all know. That author's last article might have been about Gary Condit. mike
