you compltelely misunderstood my post - how similar can two cultures be not to mention geography. Your second paragraph is exactly what I meant - It was an attack on western culture. I said that right in the post I agree and that attack was as much on us in Canada - IT was aan attack on our western culture by a small group of ragtag extremists who claim to be defending GOD and ISLAM. Part of the problems in our world that cause this carngae is that people focus too much on the differences rather than the similarities.

Cheese - Please dont ever underestimate the importance of this little group of hockey players and beer drinkers. I am only missing 4 teeth. WE are the USA's largest Trading partner. Also, WE are without question your most important military ally - That is a non argument. Just think geography. WE are in this together in many many ways. The War hit OUR soil - the War is on this continent now or was and hopefully is done on our soil. I didnt get too upset about GWB forgetting Canada because Powell sure paid up for it. I think its implied.

don't try to imply Canada was as much of the reason for the attack as the USA was Never implied anything of the sort. No question the targets were New York and washington. Once again - The effect of fear and uncertainty in our lives are as impacted. The impact on our retirement accounts equallly hit.ASk the 9000 Americans that slept in the gyms around town. Ask the Kentucky couple who drank my beer on my deck while their newborn napped in my bed if I was not affected or the two British couples that spent the night at my Mother's home. I will not challenge your chest beating because that leader of the free world stuff is true. I think we were very involved.
