Dent, I bash lawyers as much as anyone, but please explain how they caused the WTC disaster. That doesn't compute in my wee brain.

Dent- Cockpit doors which are virtually impregnable had been recommended by at least two separate task forces on aviation safety as long as ten years ago. The same with respect to on board undercover marshalls and a check-in system which was tied into an fbi/cia/interpol database for suspected terrorist. I suggest that at LEAST one of these measures would have (or would likely have) prevented the tragedies. All of the measures were vigorously opposed by the airline industry along with other self-interested "groups". Personally, I don't find anything objectionable about "profiling" individuals in connection with safety measures against terrorism. There is no constitutional right to travel by air. It is a contract between the air carrier and the passenger. If a person is not willing to undergo the required safety precautions they can walk or take alternate transportation. How is that for political correctness?
